If the title hasn't confused you completely ... my best girlfriend, Audrey, is newly-pregnant with her second child. Until such time as he/she makes his/her entrance in the world, they shall henceforth be referred to as "The Reedlet". (That's what I called Logan when he was similarly in-utero, and the name's stuck.)
Having seen cool things done with alphabet blocks on several photography blogs, I wanted to do a series of shots with Audrey when she was pregnant the first time ... but it never worked out. This time, we're starting early.
Shown here at six weeks (I think), this is the first in a series of photos we plan to do over the coming months.
...and this was the shot that made me kick myself, HARD, yesterday - I had the ISO on my camera set to 1600 because of a late-night sports shoot I'd done previously, and I didn't realize it at the time. That's responsible for the grainy quality of the image. I used a couple filters in Photoshop that helped reduce it a lot from the image SOOC, but I'm still ticked at myself.
But that's okay - I have at least a couple months to get the hang of shooting these, right?
