This is the personal photo blog of Angie Key. It's a tool I use to record some of my favorite photographs ... images I've captured with my lens of which I'm reasonably proud.
"Point & Pray" is not a business. I do take on some paid photography jobs or "commissions" on a semi-pro basis. I do business under the name Keyframe Photography, and you can find my business site here.
"Point & Pray" started as a joke. You know how cameras are said to be "point & shoot"? Well, I used to claim I was a "point & pray" photographer. With study, practice, and a lot of work, I've gotten a little bit better - at least, I'm happier with my results nowadays. You can read more about it here.
I love taking photos for my family & friends. It's cool to be able to bless others by doing something I love! I've had the privilege of shooting newborn babies, growing families, moody teens, and crazy pets. When friends need an updated headshot, family portrait, or Christmas card photo, I'm happy to help.
For friends & family, I love to barter my services. Click here for more info.
I volunteer at my church. A wise woman once told me that when you're using your gifts and serving in a way God wants you to serve, you're energized by the experience ... not drained. So instead of working with kids in the nursery, I take photos whenever they need me at Fellowship Church in Plano. You might have seen me at a baptism, or an infant dedication, or a tailgate party, or any of the other cool, creative events the FC staff comes up with. (I'm the redhead with the big ol' camera in my hand.)
I love email. Feel free to drop me a line - either info@pointandpray.com or angie@angiekey.com will work - whether you want to talk photography, ask me a question, or teach me something new ... I would love to hear from you.
So, welcome to "Point and Pray Photography". Make yourself at home. Pick a category at the right, or just browse through the pages of posts via the links at the bottom. I can't say you'll find great works of art on this site, but you will find moments that made me smile as I captured them on film.
Or pixels.
You know what I mean.
