Photography is my passion, and I treat it as a hobby ... not a business. I'm pleased to use it as a way to bless my friends and family. But I do get asked frequently, "How can I say thank you?"
I love the barter system. I've been known to trade photography work for baked goods, handmade art, assistance with projects at the house, and more.
I also wholeheartedly welcome contributions to my camera fund. I'm saving for an upgrade to my camera equipment. (I'm shooting with a Nikon D200 now, and I have my eye on the new D300s.) The best way to do this is with a gift card to B&H Photography in the amount of your choice.
Simply go to their website and click the link for Gift Cards. They'll mail it for free ... all you need to do is give them my contact information:

The moment I turn this hobby into a business, it will become work. That will take at least half the joy out of it for me. Besides, I don't want to mess with the insurance and liability repercussions of running a photography business. But on the other hand, I know my husband would love it if this became a self-sustaining hobby!
