A shot of the Melbourne Beach (FL) coastline about two hours after sunrise on a chilly 55-degree morning. I know you're not typically supposed to put the horizon right smack dab in the center of the frame vertically, but I liked the angle of the coastline and the way it draws your eye across the shot. Plus, the dimensional lighting on the clouds was too cool to cut out. Shot with Nikon D200 and 55-200mm lens at 55mm, f/4.0 (November 8, 2008).
