This shot entirely illustrates the benefit of a telephoto lens. I took this from the pool decking while Jim and V were horsing around. It's not exactly candid - I called for their attention and told them to smile - but it captures the very essence of their father-daughter bond: laughter. We have this photo hanging on the wall in our family room, and I grin every time I see it. Taken with Nikon D100, 22-200mm lens, Summer 2007.
